Families pack Cape Ann Lanes for a day of candlepins

The chilly, gusty weather may have had something to do it with it.

It was a busy Saturday at Cape Ann Lanes. Families filled the lanes, bowling candlepins.

Children use dinosaur-shaped props to center their aim and roll the balls down aisles, while siblings, parents, and grandparents cheered them on .
